#6545 URINARY FETUIN-A FRAGMENT EXCRETION IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES AND ITS CORRELATION WITH RENAL FUNCTION

Abstract Background and Aims Fetuin-A is associated with production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which can lead to progression vascular complications in patients diabetes. Results total 68 subjects included, 37 being men (54.4%). mean age, eGFR, UACR, FCR 55 ± 11.4 years, 61.9 37.5 ml/min/1.73 m2, 1060.7 1550 mg/g, 522.2 915.1 ng/g respectively. There significant positive UACR (p<0.005), serum (p<0.001). trend noted increasing levels worsening eGFR. AUROC predicting stage 3 onwards 0.703 0.789 respectively (Figure 1).
